Judi Smith has been working with Internet technologies and applying them to business opportunities ever since the Internet was “invented by Al Gore” – that is to say since about 1995.
Currently Judi is the Director of Strategic Services with Awana, an international nonprofit with offices in over 100 countries and in excess of $20 million in sales. She’s also the owner of Unofficial Technologies, a tiny (read: one-person) internet consultancy focused on strategies for leveraging social media and internet-based technologies for nonprofits and small businesses.
Judi began working with social media and networking over 5 years ago to build a community on Awana’s website which now boasts over 10,000 members. Since that time she has applied various social media platforms to improve customer service and enhance marketing.
Judi’s background includes developing technology-based marketing strategies, ecommerce strategies, video marketing presentations, multimedia CD-ROM presentations, and websites. Judi is the winner of two Telly Awards for best commercial spots. Her education includes a Doctor of Jurisprudence and an MBA.
